Prepare 1 kg chicken
Prepare 3 tbsp curd
Get 3 tbsp and 2 tsp oil

Get 1/2 tsp garam masala powder
Prepare 2 cardamoms
Take 1/2 " cinnamon
Get 2 cloves
Get 2 bay leaves
Take 2 dry red chillies
Prepare 1/2 tsp pepper corn seeds
Make ready 1 tsp lemon juice
Make ready To taste salt
Take 1/2 tsp sugar
Prepare 2 potatoes (cut into pieces)
Make ready 1 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
Steps to make Chicken korma:
First marinate chicken adding curd,1 tbsp garlic paste,1 tsp ginger paste, 1 tsp turneric powder 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder, lemon juice and 2 tsp oil. Keep aside for 1 hour. Add oil in the pan amd fry potatoes adding salt, turneric powder. Keep aside.
Add ghee with oil. Add bay leaves,dry red chillies, pepper corn, cinnamon, cardamom into pan. Add chopped onion. Saute till golden brown. Add onion-ginger-garlic-green chillies paste. Cook well add marinated chicken and fried potatoes.
Mix coriander powder, rest of the red chilli powder, turneric powder adding little bit water and add to the chicken. Add salt. Add kasuri methi Cook in high flame for 5 minutes constantly stirring. Then use lid and cook in low flame for 10 minutes. Then add 1 cup of water and cook another 5 minutes. Add sugar and garam masala powder. Put off the flame. Sprinkle coriander leaves. Ready to serve.
