The ingredients needed to make Best Kimchi:
  1. Prepare 1 lb (0.5 kg) sturdy vegetables- cabbage, carrot, radish, cauliflower, etc
  2. Get 2 Tbsp salt
  3. Prepare 4 Cups cold water
  4. Make ready 2 cups Very hot water (to add to seasoning)
  5. Take Seasoning
  6. Make ready 1 Tbsp galic
  7. Make ready 1 Tbsp ginger

  9. Take 1-2 tsp red pepper flakes, or cayenne, or green chili
  10. Take 2 tsp sugar
  11. Make ready 1 Tbsp salt
Steps to make Best Kimchi:
  1. Wash and chop your vegetables
  2. Soak your vegetables in cold water and salt. 8 hours or overnight
  3. Drain water. And squeeze out water from your vegetables. Set aside
  4. In a bowl add seasoning
  5. Pour your boiling water over the seasoning, stir with a spoon
  6. Add your vegetables, make sure your vegetables are covered by the water. If not add just a bit more water.
  7. Cover with plastic wrap.
  8. Let set out 2 days, then enjoy
  9. You can refrigerate after 2 days. Make sure your vegetables stay covered with the water.
