Hey everyone, I hope you’re having an amazing day today. Today, I will show you a way to make a distinctive dish, carrot jam. One of my favorites. This time, I will make it a bit unique. This will be really delicious.

Carrot Jam is one of the most popular of recent trending meals on earth. It’s enjoyed by millions daily. It’s easy, it’s quick, it tastes delicious. Carrot Jam is something which I’ve loved my entire life. They are fine and they look wonderful.

To begin with this particular recipe, we must prepare a few components. You can cook carrot jam using 5 ingredients and 6 steps. Here is how you cook that.

The ingredients needed to make Carrot Jam:
  1. Take 760 g carrots
  2. Get 450 g light brown sugar
  3. Make ready 2 lemons, zest of one lemon and juice of two lemons
  4. Get Small pinch of seasalt
  5. Make ready 2 tbsp vanilla
Steps to make Carrot Jam:
  1. Peel all the carrots and grate about 60g from the quantity.
  2. Chop the rest of the carrots and add to a saucepan. Add just enough water to cover all the carrots and add a pinch of salt.
  3. Cook the carrots until soft and then drain and puree.
  4. Using a fine sieve push out any excess water from the carrots (I reserved the water as I was planning to make carrot soup).
  5. Put the grated carrots, vanilla, lemon zest and lemon juice and pureed carrots into a saucepan. Add the sugar and bring to the boil and cook for about 10-15 minutes continously stirring until the jam has thickened. It may take slightly longer to thicken.
