The ingredients needed to make Cauliflower Steak:
  1. Get 1 whole cauliflower, outer greens still attached
  2. Get Olive oil
  3. Prepare Paprika powder
  4. Get Salt and pepper
  5. Get Store bought mushroom sauce (optional)
  6. Take Fried egg
Instructions to make Cauliflower Steak:
  1. Pre heat the oven 200C.
  2. Remove the greens from the outside of the vegetable and rinse and dry them.
  3. Rinse the outside of the cauliflower and throughly dry.
  4. Cut the bottom of the cauliflower off so it’s flat and cut into 2-3 steaks.
  5. Drizzle the steaks with olive oil, salt and pepper and a pinch of paprika. Make sure both sides are seasoned.
  6. Season the greens the same way and transfer to a baking tray.
  7. Heat a pan with a tablespoon of olive oil and brown the steaks around 4 minutes on each side. Transfer steaks to a baking tray.
  8. Bake steaks and greens for approximately 20 minutes or until fully cooked on the inside.
  9. Serve with egg as a side along with the greens and drizzle with the mushroom sauce.
